The Vaqueros came from behind to beat South Mountain at South Mountain on Wednesday. CAC is now 24-7 on the season and 12-4 in conference play.

CAC scored a run in the eighth and two runs in the ninth to secure the win. CAC scored in the 8th when MJ Hubbs singled in Spencer O'Neil with two outs. That run tied the game four to four. In the ninth, CAC scored again with two outs. Colby Hamilton drove in Cody Farrell with a single and Spencer O'Neil had a RBI double. Junior Zepeda closed the ninth to earn his 6th save of the season.

CAC started Connor Noble threw 5 2/3 innings giving up two runs on 3 hits with 4 strikeouts. Jared Koenig (3-0) picked up the win in relief. He threw 1 2/3 innings with 4 strikeouts.

CAC will play next on Friday at home versus Chandler-Gilbert at 2 pm.
