If they're going to play like this, don't show up late. The first game of the Central Arizona College Wednesday doubleheader lasted a little over an hour due to a mercy rule. The ACCAC plays seven innings in the first games of DH's and nine innings for the second game, so before you could even spit out two packs of seeds, the Vaqueros had won 11-1 over Okanogan College from British Columbia, Canada. 

Game one wasn't anything special, Central had seven hits, all in the right places, and Dakody Clemmer threw the entire six for a CG/win. Solid baseball, nothing to write home about.

Game two, hold the phone.

Central ripped 'em everywhere twenty times which plated nineteen runs and the final was 19-2. The Coyotes opened their season with seven games in California and end the season-opening road trip with four games in Las Vegas against Southern Nevada. That's a 3,000 mile swing. On a bus.

Maybe the Okes were worn out. Nobody really knows.

Outfielder Jake Brown had five rbi's in game two, catcher Chris Kobar went 3-4 with a two-bagger, Cody Erickson knocked in three, and Michael Lopez threw well striking out five and won his second game of the year.

Nothing flew out of the Big House today. The Vaqueros move to 0-0, 7-1, and are hitting .348 as a team. Off to Yuma for a Saturday set.
