MJ, Brownie go desert. Noble goes eight. Central trips CGCC

A quiet day at the Big House excepting a couple of loud homeruns to left field from MJ Hubbs and Jake Brown as the Vaqueros tripped up Chandler-Gilbert Community College on a windy Tuesday afternoon. The final was 5-3, the sixth straight win for Central Arizona College.

Number 8 rips number 8.

Central totaled eight hits on the afternoon including a Cooper Esmay rbi triple. Jaime Estrada knocked in two with a single, and Caleb Henderson also hit a sharp grounder throught the right side for an rbi single.

Chandler-Gilbert hosts the Vaqueros at their place Wednesday afternoon to conclude the two game seasonal series. Connor Noble threw eight innings striking out eight and with the exception of a first inning lead-off double, the Coyotes went quietly. Noble is now 4-2.

"He threw well" the head coach probably said. As of press time, the exclusive text message had not arrived, so it's not really an official quote, but it pretty much is.

"We can't let down" said HC Anthony Gilich before this matchup. The Vaq's have thirteen games left with not a whole lot of wiggle room. The top four division one programs in the ACCAC make the Region One playoffs with Central now in the fifth position, three games back of Yavapai. The two meet for a DH April 14th, but before that it's three tough ones, one with Phoenix, and a DH with Arizona Western.

This MJ Hubbs thing:

Leads the team in at-bats, hits, doubles, triples, homeruns, rbi's, slugging percentage and batting average.

Vaquero fielders:

Lead the ACCAC with fewest errors comitted and in fielding percentage. Are second in turned double plays and have thrown out the most runners attempting to steal.
