Hm. Buzzsaw.
It was a barnburner at Gene Autry Park in Mesa for Friday night and it was 12-2 Seminole St after three innings, 12-9 after four, and 15-10 after seven.
The final score was 18-12, and Central Arizona College hit 'em all night but couldn't stop the bats of the Trojans in a "let's see who's got what" game of nationally ranked team. Central Arizona is currently #5 and Seminole St is #20.
Makoa Rosario led the Vaqueros with three hits and Mitchell Robinson, Ernie de la Trinidad, and Bradley Morgan each had two of the Vaquero's 15 hits. Five extra base hits on the night for the Vaqueros including triples from Morgan and Robinson, and doubles frm DLT, Brent Gibbs and Caleb Henderson.
It's tough to come back from giving up 12 runs (3 earned) in three innings but the Vaqueros almost did.
Central is now 22-3 and 8-2 with a DH at Gateway Community College Saturday.
