Cowboys win 28th game against Williston St; Eggiman with inside the park homerun

Central Arizona College leads the ACCAC in runs scored and tacked on twelve more Friday afternoon against the visiting Williston St Tetons in a 12-3 win.

Central Arizona is scoring over 9 runs a game with many games being seven innings and some even being five.

It helps every starting pitcher when your team jumps out in the first inning and Central did it again with four in the first Friday afternoon, and after 3 innings it was 7-0. On the day, the Vaqueros had 12 hits. Pikai Winchester doubled and tripled, drove in two and scored twice going 3-4, Brent Gibbs added two hits, one a homerun, and drove in three.

Side note: Gibbs leads all Central pitchers with a strikeout average of 18 a game.  In 2 innings pitched, he has 4 k's. Allrighty then.

Side note II: Ben Skuro, in more realistic stats as a reliever, is now striking out batters at over 15 per 9 innings. It's ridiculous, 32 k's in 18 innings pitched this year. Central leads the ACCAC in strikeouts (by a lot) and in k's per game at over ten.

Team stolen base leader Jayden Eggiman went 1-3, drove in 2, and scored twice and in a special event as rare as they happen, hustled around for an exciting inside-the-park homerun. Dakody Clemmer won his 5th game of the year throwing four innings and giving up one single, striking out seven. Skuro, George Castillo, and Clemmer lead the ACCAC in wins with five apiece. A rested Sati Santa Cruz threw a nice one, Brendan Turcotte struck out 4 in his 3 innings, and Kyle Atkinson struck two of his three and continues to impress.

Mitchell Robinson singled and walked, drove one in and scored and now leads the team in hits, and is hitting .404.

At this point, you could put names in a hat and pull them out randomly for your starting batting line-up. The whole team is hitting. The team batting average is .346 and Central leads the ACCAC in total hits.
