"Tough day. We were just outplayed today" said Head Coach Anthony Gilich.
Even though the score was 13-0 after four innings, you still thought there's a chance. Central Arizona scored four runs in the fifth and sixth innings and the prevailing thought this year is..."if the Vaqueros can just get it back being 8 down..."
Well no.
A few errors and the Artichokes putting wood on the ball made it a tough day for sure, starter Dakody Clemmer gave up twelve runs, only one earned, and it was just one of those days.
Clemmer got his first loss of the season.
"We'll get back at it today." said Gilich.
