Vaqueros rip 17 hits, Edwards twirls a beaut.

It just seems like there's so much talent on this year's team, you don't know how to squeeze 'em all in. You have very good baseball players like Justice Nakagawa,  Austin Ely, and Brendan Turcotte chompin', but the question is, who do they replace?

With a team batting average of .359 and everyone hitting every game, what's a poor coach to do?

Then there's Bradley Morgan. On fire. Walking, doubling, and tripling when he gets in.

"Really proud of the way Shane Potter played today" said the coach.

OMG, another name. Potter replaced Caleb Henderson for the day at first base and went three for four driving in two and doubling. Morgan played third Saturday afternoon and played error-free, went two for three, scored twice, doubled, and tripled, and walked twice to boot. I always say you're on fire when you draw a lot of walks. See Jaime Estrada's stats.

It's a game of hunches, so you check your gut for that day. This day was filled with unusual suspects, including starting pitcher Andrew Edwards. Edwards threw strikes, got the quick outs and  gave up two runs through most of seven innings before Jared Montoya relieved him and finished off the Artichokes for a 10-4 win.

SS Roger Varela was bumped up to second in the order and scored twice, drove in two and doubled. Ernie de la Trinidad doubled and went three for five on the day. Catcher Brent Gibbs singled three times. Everyone in the starting lineup collected hits excepting Jayden Eggiman, but nobody's worried about him. There's a high premium on this team placed on SAC bunts and he did that.

Central is now 24-4 at home and leading the ACCAC with 19-5 and 37-7. That's a lot of wins.
