Game 1 College of Eastern Utah
After three and a half, Central Arizona led 10-0 and everyone on the squad had to be thinking "this is more like it."
The final in game #2 of the season opening Las Vegas JUCO Tournament was 15-7 in a game shortened to seven innings. Will McAffer started and Sam Miller finished giving up only four hits total, McAffer struck out four in 3.1 and Miller struck out three in 3.2, only 3 BB in the seven innings.
The Vaqueros ripped 15 hits and every starting player hit safely, the middle of the order was devastating. Pikai Duque-Winchester, Brad Morgan and Matt Kroon totaled 7 hits with 5 RBI and Jake Vander Wal drove in four more with a triple.
Game 2 College of Southern Nevada
It's a one-hitter. Peyton Remy started and struck out his first two hitters, then gave up the only hit of the game, and finished throwing four innings with six fans and one walk. What a day for soph.

The Big Cat Bradley Gonzales came in for the final inning and struck out his first two before getting a pop out to center for the ball game.
A nine-run second inning put it away featuring a grand slam from Pikai over the right field wall. USN had their pitching problems walking six and hitting two in the inning but you want to take advantage and CAC did just that. Devin Ray drove in four with a two-run triple and was seemingly on base all day with HBP and walks. Just what you want in a lead-off.
"It was good to see our guys bounce back today and beat two good teams. I think we were a little more settled in today. Pikai and Peyton have really shown some leadership skills."-Head Coach Anthony Gilich.
One more today versus Colorado Northwestern at 12 noon.
