It's early and head coach Anthony Gilich has his pitchers on limited pitches. Nick Trogerlic-Iverson made the most of his pitches by throwing a hitless four and striking out seven. He then watched Jordan Suarez and Matt Dalke finish up with the final five innings as Central won 3-0. Alix Garcia tripled and drove in a run, and Ernny Ordonez and Reagan Teegarden drove home the final two runs.

In game two Central rapped 15 hits including an Ordonez 4-5 night with 4 rbi's for a15-8 win.

In game three, Jake Vander Wal and Ordonez homered to right in the top of the 11th for a 6-3 Central win.

Central shut out Colorado Northwestern 8-0 in the fourth and final game behind RJ Dabovich, Koa Eastlack and Julio Astacio as they gave up only five hits.

"Great start for us, we were challenged with some very good teams right out of the gate. We are going to rely on a lot of freshmen this year and they did a great job" said the head coach.

"We did well in all phases this weekend."
