Hilton Wins 7th-Vaqueros Slide By CGCC

It was a close game with a final of 4-2. And some days you can't bring it all, but that's what the saying means.

A win is a win.

Vaqueros starter Jacob Hilton threw six innings with command stuff, and left without giving up an earned run. Yes and he struck out 12 'Yotes in the win. It was Matt Dalke throwing the final three innings giving up  a couple of hits and no runs as Central moved to 39-7 and 19-7.

Third baseman Ernny Ordonez hit a homerun and doubled driving in two of the four runs, Liam Spence and Alix Garcia added doubles, and despite some good pitching on the other end, the Vaqueros do it again.

A definite congratulations on these two wins as these these ended up being tougher than expected.

Central escapes with two wins against Chandler Gilbert Community College on the strength of their pitching this time. It's a mystery how the Coyotes are a 7-23 conference play team.
