Unplayable field conditions at the #2 seed Yavapai Roughriders baseball site so the series was moved to Paradise Valley Community College where game two will be played today and if necessary game three on Saturday.
The Roughriders got a very nice pitching performance from their starter who went seven and a third and the Vaqueros managed only five hits on the day.
Not a whole lot to report. Ernny Ordonez managed a double and the team had four other singles.
That's baseball, no matter how hot you are, any one pitcher can do you in on any given day, and all these play-off teams can do anything on any given day.
Central was beaten 8-1 and head out for game two today at 2:00PM in the best of three series.
