CAC at U of A

Central traveled down to Tucson to compete this past weekend. The Vaqueros had a number of good early season performances.  Chloe Newell, running in a race with no other entries, ran a lifetime personal best in the Steeplechase of 11:49.79.  Courtney Robinson dropped her Intermediate Hurdle time by 2 seconds running a 61:98 to win the race.  Elexis Fuller-Stewart and Kimberly Golding swept the 100h with times of 13.86 and 13.89.  Other winners Included Harry Mulenga in the 800m (1:50.14) and 1500m (3:50.64), Ben Trotter in the 100M (10.64), Steven Cooper in the 400M (47.49), and Eldred Henry in the Shot (17.07).  CAC will split their squads this next week sending some competitors to the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays in Austin Texas and some to a Paradise Valley invitational.
