CAC traveled to EL Paso this past weekend and came back with some outstanding performances.  On the track, Samson Nathaniel ran an NJCAA leading 46.86 in the 400m as did Camira Haughton with a 54.56. Diamond Washington ran a solid 11.84 in the 100m.

Marleena Eubanks won the 800m in the time of 2:10.22.  In the field events, Magaly Tshipopo won the women's high jump with 5'8" and placed high in the long jump with a jump of 19'7". 

RESULTS

Tynelle Gumbs had a big day as she won the women's hammer with an NJCAA leading 184' throw.  She also placed third in the discus with a personal best 155 feet.

This weekend Central hosts the ACCAC Conference Championship meet.  Events start at 10AM Saturday.
