Competing at the NAU Tune Up meet in Flagstaff this past weekend, a few CAC Track athletes put the NJCAA on notice.  Shawkia Iddrisu (400m), Jeminise Parris (60m Hurdles), Portious Warren (Shot Put), and Gilbert Kigen (3000m) all lead the NJCAA Indoor qualifications list in their perspective events.  There were a number of great performances from other Vaqueros all in preparation for NJCAA Nationals.  Central will compete at Mesa College this coming weekend in their last meet before traveling to NJCAA Indoor Nationals in Pittsburgh Kansas March 1st.
