The Men and Women Track and Field Teams competed at the ACCAC Conference Championships hosted by Paradise Valley College on Friday.  Central Arizona did not field their complete team but manage to win the meet while also having solid performances notably from David Lynch (Freshman), Joshua Mascall (Freshman), Myles Copeland-Naulty (Freshman), Julian Campos (Sophomore), Sharvis Simmonds (Sophomore), Gabriel Oliveria (Freshman), Jorge Corona (Sophomore), Samuel Gilson (Freshman), Cameron Thomas (Freshman), Garrett Pritchard (Sophomore) and the 4x100 Relay Team.

David qualified for the NJCAA Outdoor National meet in the 200 meter with a time of 21.04 and currently has the 12th best time in the nation. 

Joshua qualified for the NJCAA Outdoor National meet in the 200 meter with a time of 21.01 and currently has the 10th best time in the nation. 

Joshua was also conference champion in the 400 meter race.

Myles qualified for the NJCAA Outdoor National meet in the 200 meter with a time of 21.05 and currently has the 13th best time in the nation.

Julian was conference champion in the 1500 meter race. 

Sharvis qualified for the NJCAA Outdoor National meet in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 53.37 and currently has the 3rd best time in the nation. 

Shavis was also conference champion in the 110 meter hurdle race and the 400 meter hurdle race.

Gabriel was conference champion in the triple jump. 

Jorge qualified for the NJCAA Outdoor National meet in the 3000 meter steeplechase with a time of 9:34.94 and currently has the 13th best time in the nation. 

Sam qualified for the NJCAA Outdoor National meet in the 3000 meter steeplechase with a time of 9:48.28 and currently has the 17th best time in the nation. 

Cameron qualified for the NJCAA Outdoor National meet in the Javelin with a mark of 190' 3" and currently has the 4th best distance in the nation. 

Cameron was also conference champion in the javelin. 

Garret was conference champion in the shot put and discus.

The 4x100 Meter Relay consisting of David-Sharvis-Myles-Joshua were conference champions. 

The track and field teams will be back in action on April 6th at the Triton Invitational which is being held at The University of California-San Diego.
