Track and Field Concludes Regular Season at the Mesa Invitational

The Central Arizona Men and Women Track and Field Teams competed at the Mesa Invitational hosted by Mesa Community College on Friday.  Central Arizona did not field their complete team at either meets but had some solid performances notably from Connor Chaffee (Freshman), Myles Copeland-Naulty (Freshman) and Cameron Thomas (Freshman).

Connor qualified for the NJCAA Outdoor National meet in the 800 meter with a time of 1:50.51 and currently has the 5th best time in the nation. 

Myles qualified for the NJCAA Outdoor National meet in the 200 meter with a time of 20.94 and currently has the 15th best time in the nation.  

Cameron qualified for the NJCAA Outdoor National meet in the Javelin with a throw of 202' 5" and currently has the 3rd best mark in the nation.

The track and field teams will be back in action on May 29th at the Region 1 Championships held by Mesa Community College.
