The Central Arizona Men win the ACCAC conference chapionships agains all the Junior College's in Arizona. The men's team received an almost perfect score of 16 points. The Mens team placed there first 5 runners in the top 6 places. They ran an 8 Kilomter race at Villago Park. Coach Tavares was very happy with the solid performance. "The Mens team was tired from having raced only 6 days prior. To have them comeback with such a strong performance shows the character in this squad." The men were led by Gilbert Kigen winning the Conference Championships with at time of 25:11, followed by Jorge Perez who placed second 25:34. Third was Emmanuel Hidalgo 25:57, then Anthony Masayesva 26:16 with a fourth place finish. Deng Deng was 6th place with a time of 26:27. Oscar Amaya placed 8th 26:44, 7th on the team was Albert Fuller with a time of 27:17
