The CAC Mens team placed 6th out of 20 yeam in the University Invitational race. CAC Men was the only Junior College in the race, and ran very well against some strong NCAA D1 competetion. The Mens team had an impressive team average of 24:40 for the 8k race. The Mens team race was led by an impressive performance by Ikkageng Gaorekwe with a time of 23:59.

The Women ran in the open race and was 10th out of 20 teams. According to coach Tavares " The Womens team did not have a great race, we still have a lot of work to do, but the talent is here to continue to improve as the season goes on."

The Cross Country teams next race will be at Freestone park in Gilbert AZ, for the Redhawk Invitational.
