Central Arizona College Cross Country team excels at the Bronco Invite. The Bronco Invite was held on October 19^th at Santa Clara California. Most of the field were either NCAA  D1 or D2 Universities. The Womens team ran in the Open 6k race. They finished 4^th out of 19 teams. Coach Tavares was very pleased with the performance. "The Womens team had their best race of the year. The top 5 Women ran a great race, and raced hard throughout the course. "

The Mens team raced in the 8k Invitational race. The Mens team placed 14^th out of 24 teams. Coach Tavares was pleased with the performance. We ran strong. The guys was missing one of our top guys which make a big difference in the scoring. We continue to improve and get stronger as the season goes on."

The next race for the Vaqueros will be the NJCAA section 1 Regional Championships, on Friday October 25^th, in Tucson AZ.
