CAC Open Season at Puma Invite

Central's 2019 Track & Field team is off to a great start with their first of the indoor meet by competing in the Puma Invite at Paradise Community College this past weekend.  With Paul Tavares' leading the team as the New Head Coach, his team motto is" hard work, dedication and commit with will payoff".

The team was led this weekend by two throwers who had an awesome meet opening performance. Sophomore Cherisse Murray (Trinidad & Tobago) throw 15.83 in the Women's shot put which was her personal best. She leads the NJCAA in the women's shot put. Freshman Johann Jeremiah (Grenada) throw 16.09 in the Men's shot put which was also a personal best. "All four of the throwers had a solid first meet. Johann and Cherisse found a good rhythm with their early throws, and they did a great job of building from there to get new lifetime personal best", said Coach Tuttle, CAC throws Coach.
