Central Arizona College Cross Country start off another exciting season in the NJCAA. After amassing 7 consecutive top 3 finishes at Nationals, and numerous conference and Regional titles. The team begins another new year. Coach Tavares is very happy with his team. We had a great recruiting year, and I hope to continue the success we have had in the past 7 years. This group of female, and male distance runners are dedicated, and very hard working. It is also a talented group of runners. I feel this year will be the most challenging of recent pasts. Some of our bigger competitors in the Nation have spent a great deal more money than we have, to challenge us for a National title. With that being said I feel we have a strong Mens and Womens team, and am very excited to see how our team does.
