Bio

Coach Jon. Harmon is a former Central Arizona athlete, where he helped win two national championships, one for cross country (2003) and one for track (2005). Before competing for the Vaqueros, he was a two time state champion at Holbrook High School, where he holds the school records for the 1600 and 3200 meter races. After receiving his AA at Central, Harmon transferred to the University of North Carolina at Ashville where he holds school records for the 5000 meter indoor and the 10000 meter outdoor. He finished with a BA in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. Coach Harmon is still an avid runner and competes in numerous road races throughout the year. He enters his 10th year of being an assistant coach for Central Arizona, 1st year as Head Cross Country Coach.
