Top finisher for the Vaqueros yet again went to Julian Campos, who toured the course in 25:51 which was good enough for 2nd overall. There were 14 runners in this years race.  In addition to Julian placing as the Vaqueros top finisher, he also also helped his team by closig the gap to move up to a runner-up finish.

"I'm proud of Julian, we had a strategy before the race and he stuck to it." Stated Head Coach Jon Harmon. "Most runners would let their ego get in the way but not him, he did what he needed to do to help the team win today."

"Jorge, Thomas, and Seth all had a role in the meet and they executed just as asked.  A very solid effort all around."

The Vaqueros, although running without 3 key runners, defeated 11th ranked Pima.

The remaining Vaqueros finished as follows:

Jorge Corona (26:25) placed 5th overall.
