Scottsdale Community College
That's seven straight wins for the Central Arizona Vaqueras in the young season. Kyrstan Garcia threw a terrific complete first game against Scottsdale Community College Saturday, and so did Devin Hally in game two as Central won 2-1 and 12-2.
In game one, it was a walk-off for SS Jessenia Miranda in the extra inning, and it was a mercy rule second game as Central scored at least three runs in their four innings of hitting. Catcher and lead-off batter Samantha Soto hit a homerun for Central in game two.
It's great not being injured, right Devin?
The Vaqueras are now 6-0 in conference play and 9-2 overall, good for first place in the ACCAC.
Central is now 4-0 at home with a daunting road trip ahead. The Vaqueras travel to Yuma, Pima and Yavapai in the upcoming weeks and will return to Coolidge February 25th against Phoenix College.
