The Central Arizona pitching staff has gotten off to a fast start, with a staff ERA of 3.38 and a strikeout rate per 7 innings of 10.26. Jessica Mercado is 4-0 with 28 K's in 19 IP. Katelyn Woodard is 3-0 with 2 saves, a 2.80 ERA and 25 K's in 20 IP. Ana Rodriguez is 2-0 with 26 K's in 16 IP. In 3 IP, freshman Dezeray Levario has 6 K's and has allowed 1 run.

Offensively in the nine games, CAC has posted a .450 team BA, .498 OBP, .667 SLG, with 106 runs and 15 HR's. Nicol Ley has led the charge, posting a .714 BA (25-35), .914 SLG, .750 OBP, 22 R, 1 HR, 4 XBH, 9 RBI, 4 BB, 1 K. Ana Rodriguez has also been a hot bat for the Vaqueras, with the slugger already clubbing 6 HR and knocking in 22 RBI (.500 BA, 1.083 SLG). Catchers Bella Garcia and Brooke Williams have been steady behind the dish, with both providing plenty behind the plate and in the batters box. Garcia is 15-32 (.470 BA) with 15 RBI, .750 SLG, 2 HR, & 4 XBH. Williams is 14-30 (.467 AVG) with 4 XBH and a .529 OBP. Other early season offensive performances of note include: Emily Churchill- 6 for 13, 3 HR, 10 RBI. Fr. Kyana Vieux - 11 for 23 (.478 AVG), 11 R. Fr. Marina Acedo - 2 HR, 11 R.
