The Central Arizona College Women's Team opens up the 2024 season ranked 7th in the nation well ahead of the next Arizona school, Pima, which is ranked 22nd according to the USTFCCCA National Ranking Polls.

The Women will look to improve on their ranking as they open up with a big race in Riverside, CA on Saturday.  The meet, which comprises mostly of NCAA D1 and D2 programs, is one of the most competitive races in the southwestern United States.  

"The women have been coming along nicely since our first practice a month ago,"  stated Head Coach Jon Harmon.  "We were dealt with some unfortunate events with some of our runners but others have stepped up and I anticipate some huge personal bests this year."
