Track and Field Compete Against Mostly NCAA D2 schools at the Triton Invitational

The Central Arizona Men and Women Track and Field Teams competed at the Triton Invitational hosted by The University of San Diego on Friday and Saturday.  Central Arizona did not field their complete team but had some solid performances notably from Jordan Myers (Freshman), Julian Campos (Sophomore), and Jorge Corona (Sophomore).

Jordan qualified for the NJCAA Outdoor National meet in the 1500 meter with a time of 3:58.81 and currently has the 25th best time in the nation. 

Julian qualified for the NJCAA Outdoor National meet in the 1500 meter with a time of 3:53.90 and currently has the 14th best time in the nation. 

Jorge qualified for the NJCAA Outdoor National meet in the 5000 meter with a time of 15:06.65 and currently has the 24th best time best in the nation. 

The track and field teams will be back in action on April 13th at the Brian Clay and Gaucho Invitational which are being held at Azusa Pacific University and Glendale Community College, respectively.
