Vaqueras Sign Three More Arizona Standouts

The Women's Cross Country Team continues to add standout recruits to their 2024 squad by signing three more women who have impressive high school resumes.  The Vaqueras look to build off of their 6th place finish at the 2023 National Championship with a strong desire to get back on the podium.

Cassidy Davidson (Cinega High School) brings speed and strength to the squad as she is currently one of the best 800 runners in the state and is the top runner at her school.  Cassidy currently has personal bests of: 2:19.12 (800m), 5:36.15 (1600m), 20:51.30 (5k).  Cassidy placed 36th at the Division 2 State Cross Country Championship in the Fall.  She will look to improve those personal bests at the upcoming sectional and state championship track and field meets in the next couple of weeks.

Tatyana Enriquez (Mountain Pointe High School) brings strength and versatility to the squad, not only was she the top runner for her school but also played many varsity sports in high school.  Tatyana currently has personal bests of: 2:31.36 (800m), 5:40.73 (1600m), 12:47.47 (3200m).  Tatyana placed 43rd at the Division 2 State Cross Country Championship in the Fall.  She will look to improve those personal bests at the upcoming sectional and state championship track and field meets in the next couple of weeks.

Rylee Koopee (Hopi High School) brings endurance to the squad, not only was she the top runner for her school but also was on the varsity softball team in high school.  Rylee currently has personal bests of: 20:55.80 (5k). She placed 18th at the Division 4 State Cross Country Championship in the Fall.  

"All these ladies are expected to help our team out tremendously"  Stated Head Coach Jon Harmon.  "They all have high expectations for themseleves and I know are eager to start their college running."
