The Central Arizona College men's basketball team used a second-half surge to rally past 11th-ranked Indian Hills 84-77 on Tuesday night at the George Young Activity Center.
The No. 18 Vaqueros trailed 43-31 at halftime before outscoring the Warriors 53-34 in the second half.
"We defended," CAC coach Jordan Dreiling said. "We rebounded it well. Our offense started clicking. We started knocking down open shots. I was really proud of them for staying together and fighting together and pulling it out in the end. I thought our effort collectively was awesome. Everybody played a role."
Five players scored in double figures for the Vaqueros, who improved to 12-3 on the season. Indian Hills fell to 14-2.
